Delta Youth Football League was founded in 1971.  2014 will be our 43rd year of high level competitive football and cheer.  Member organizations are located throughout the California Central Valley and the Bay Area.  Teams currently representing towns of Lodi, Stockton, Lathrop, Manteca, Tracy, Ripon, Salida, Modesto, Ceres, Mountain House, Brentwood, Hayward, Livermore, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Dublin are forming now.  Come be a part of the tradition.

San Joaquin County Office of Education - 7:30 pm

During 2014 Delta Youth Football League is partnering with USA Football to provide a safer environment for our participants.  Each coach will be required to register with USA Football and take the Level 1 online training course in addition to attending the annual DYFL Coaches' Clinic.  This will insure all coaches including first time youth football coaches will receive the same instruction related to safety and coaching techniques.  The online portion of the training has been divided into modules and can be completed in a single sitting or over multiple sessions.  Coaching badges will not be issued until the online certification has been completed, you have passed the mandatory background check and you have attended the DYFL Coaches Clinic on June 28th.  Get started on the online portion of the training today by clicking HERE.

Official weigh-ins will be conducted at the jamborees.  All partiicpants must arrive in T-shirt, athletic shorts and socks to the event.  After official weigh-ins they will immediately change into football uniform.

DYFL Event Rules

  No beverage containers (empty or full) are allowed

  No Ice Chests

  No Pets

  Healthy snacks and drinks may be brought by a certified coach for participants, however they must remain with the team at all times.
